Heat your Water for Sensitive Patients

As a dentist, you probably have several patients with sensitive teeth. Often times, the cold water that is used during select procedures can actually make these patients uncomfortable and results in pain. There are several cost effective solutions however:

  1. If you don’t want to invest in water heaters at this time, installing a clean water bottle system to your unit and simply putting warm tap water in the bottle can help eliminate the "cold water" problems throughout the procedure.

  2. Water Heaters have recently started to come down in price. The once costly heaters are now available from certain companies for a mere $239.00 each. Water heaters also now have the ability to be shut off when your master switch is turned off as you leave for the day.   These tips will save you both time and money as well as make your patients more comfortable throughout procedures.
