Composed of copolymer of glycolic acid and trimethylene carbonate, the v-loc 180 absorbable green wound closure device reload suture utilizes a dual-angle-cut which creates a superior anchoring barb that provides a strong holding force while preserving the integrity of the strand's strength. It distributes tension across the wound while holding the wound edges together without the need to tie knots. The wound closure device has an absorption profile of 180 days and tensile strength at 7 days, 80%; 14 days, 75% and 21 days, 65%.
