We are growing our External sales force and looking for a Regional Outside Sales person possessing strong communication skills a proven record of consultant based selling. This highly motivated professional should be enthusiastic and have a strong desire to become a driving force in achieving Dental Planet’s mission of becoming the industry choice for affordable equipment by offering high quality, fair priced, value-Add solutions while exceeding the expectations of our Customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To quickly perform in-office analysis assessing the equipment needs of a practice.
  • Must be able to provide information to clients on how to maximize returns on their equipment investments.
  • Must have the ability and enthusiasm necessary to influence people and be viewed as confident in the solutions presented.
  • Become proficient in dental terminology, dental systems, and marketing techniques .
  • Work well with the client to ensure a positive experience throughout the buying process.
  • Must have flexibility to travel and meet with Office managers and Doctors in designated regions.
  • Assist and follow up on leads generated by internal sales calls.
  • To ensure active quotations are monitored and closed within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry by staying in tune with educational and professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
  • Provides and maintain records on area and customer sales.
  • Assist in the coordination of installation of new equipment in respective regions.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for ongoing support for clients.

  • Minimum 2 year degree required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Sales or Service in the dental or medical field preferred
  • Must maintain positive, professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Proven mechanical aptitude or technical training in Dental and or Vet equipment is a plus
  • Understanding of Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical schematics are helpful
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Field Service Technician

This position will provide repair and installation on a variety of Dental or Veterinary equipment and products, which may include networking, computers and software (Windows environment) following all company and or manufacturer guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Responds to assigned calls, diagnosing problems, installation of new equipment, or making appropriate repairs
  • Loads, delivers, and installs Dental and or Vet equipment
  • Determines parts, supplies, or tools needed to complete service requests
  • Maintains all test equipment used in the calibration and repair of equipment
  • Trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment installed
  • Completes all required paperwork (including but not limited to; Service orders, State or Federal forms, any additional equipment related forms)
  • Returns defective modules, assemblies or parts
  • Follows specific manufacturer guidelines for repairs
  • Complies with all company, OSHA, FDA policies related to specific equipment
  • Serves as a technical contact for assistance with the training and ongoing technical support for clients
  • Ensures that service commitments are met within a reasonable timeframe
  • Reports activities or needs to Customer Service at the end of each day
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Positive, professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous X-Ray experience preferred
  • Technical training in electronics or related technical field is a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as service or repair technician in the dental or medical field preferred
  • Proven mechanical aptitude through prior experience in computers, carpentry, HVAC , electricity is desired
  • Understanding of Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical schematics are helpful
  • Strong customer service, organizational and problem solving skills required
  • Ability to lift, load and unload equipment at repair or installation site up to 100 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Dental Equipment Technician - Production

Located: Wichita Falls, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Test, break down & refurbish dental equipment to the guidelines set by Dental Planet, LLC
  • Prepare parts list to order required replacement parts
  • Troubleshoot service issues over the phone with customers and field technicians
  • Complete orders on time and achieve high quality
  • Inform Management of any issues on any products
  • Follow all safety precautions when operating all power equipment
  • Maintain Device History; Including serial number and refurbishment items and complete quality control process and other required paperwork
  • Research and stay current on digital equipment and options
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of electronics and A/C and D/C circuits desired
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics required
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred, down to board and/or component level
  • Computer experience desired, including network, IP protocols, routers, sub-nets experience
  • Experience working on and repairing dental equipment preferred
  • Must have access to basic tools. Specialty tools provided by Dental Planet, LLC
