Bob Payton, President
Bob Payton joined Dental Planet in April, 2017, bringing senior leadership experiences from diverse industry sectors including Manufacturing, Transportation, Communications, Healthcare and Education. Mr. Payton has a history of team development, sustained business unit revenue growth and merger/acquisition management. He finds his challenge and joy in developing collaborative teams and growing people.
Mr. Payton is originally from Pennsylvania and attended college at Eastern Illinois University. He married in 1982 and has one son. His family has lived in Wichita Falls, TX since 1999 and he remains active in the community as a member of the Wichita Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees since 2004.
Tony Brumley, Vice President Sales
Mr. Brumley has been in the dental industry since 2005. He initially ran the cabinet division while also serving as an equipment sales consultant. He now serves as Vice President of Sales. He previously served as the Finance Director for Wichita Falls Ford Lincoln Mercury, having earned accreditation as a Master Certified Finance Manager from Ford Motor Company. At Ford, having started out as a sales consultant before being promoted to the New Vehicle Sales Manager, Mr. Brumley also earned accreditation as a Master Certified Sales Manager. He has been married since 2001 and has three boys. Mr. Brumley has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Midwestern State University.
Nicholas Whittington, Vice President of Operations
Mr. Whittington has been in the dental industry since 2000. His initial focus was on starting and developing the company's auction division, however, with his background in computer systems, he quickly transitioned into maintaining the hardware and software infrastructure as well. Since then he has managed most of the departments in the organization at one time or another including information technology, technology business development, marketing, production, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory acquisition. He also serves as a digital equipment technician and has written many of the applications and reports used to run the daily business, as well as managed multiple hardware and software integrations over the years.
He and his wife Crystal have been married since 2001 and have three beautiful children. Mr. Whittington was born and raised in Wichita Falls, but has lived with his family in Iowa Park since 2006. He holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Midwestern State University.
